The Lowry invited me to produce digital content for three exhibitions. They liked how I worked and so then invited to share an exhibition within their photographic gallery space in Salford in 2013 with photographer, Katherine Green.
I was extremely fortunate to be asked to find six audience members that I felt personified The Lowry Theatre to celebrate The Lowry's tenth anniversary. Alone, I canvassed for the contributors by attending many of their varied shows and approaching them as they left. I asked each contributor to wear the same outfit for the day of filming so viewers would get to see how they appeared to me as a filmmaker.
The final films I hope represented both the range of audience and the diverse theatre and dance program available to those who attend The Lowry.
"I really value Hilary's empathy, skills and creativity. I always look forward to working with her because she is full of good ideas, as well as being an utterly reliable project manager."
